ANAT COLLABORATES WITH NUMEROUS PARTNER ASSOCIATIONS, IN ITALY AND ABROAD
The AT National Association was established through the merger of “Associazione Nazionale A-T Davide De Marini” with “Gli amici di Valentina” and “Noi per Lorenzo”, three of the most important associations that had been active in Italy since the ’90s. ANAT inherited from its predecessors the collaborative relationships that had been set up with various other associations, both at the national and international level.
ANAT has been listed among the Fondazione Telethon Partner Associations network for many years and has collaborated with Italian associations dealing with primary immunodeficiencies, such as AIP (Primary Immunodeficiency Association) and SPIA (Sicilian Primary Immunodeficiency Association).
Since 2018 it is an official member of Uniamo, the Italian federation for rare diseases, that comprises over 100 national assotiations focused on rare illnesses.
A close cooperation was also put in place with several AT assotiations active in other Countries: the British AT Society and Action for A-T, the Spanish AEFAT and the French APRAT.
In 2020 it became an active contributor of the A-T Global Alliance, the international alliance founded during the pandemic with the aim of joining the efforts in the fight againt the disease.
